90% Project leadership on ongoing efforts involving the elaboration of molecular signaling pathways in primary cultures of the heart and brain; screening of drugs as potential candidates for arrhythmia treatment and disorders of mood/anxiety; manuscript writing
10% Assistance with general lab functions, including group meetings, organization, and maintenance; research/literature presentations once every 2 months
Required Qualifications: PhD in a life science; demonstrated productivity in the form of publications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiological methods (whole-cell recordings) in primary cell cultures of the heart and brain; experience with mouse handling
