The University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville, Department of Radiology, Division of Radiation Oncology, is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor position. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Serving as Division Chief of Radiation Oncology
Leading research and clinical trial activities for the Division of Radiation Oncology
Participation in other oncology research efforts in the Cancer Institute
Participation in medical student education
Providing radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and low/high dose brachytherapy treatment for patients referred to the Division of Radiation Oncology
Participation in resident and fellow education and curriculum development as needed in Hem/Onc fellowship.
Tennessee Medical License
ABR Certification in Radiation Oncology
Fellowship-trained in Radiation Therapy
