DESCRIPTION:Under general supervision of the charge nurse, and directly responsible to the Clinical Director, the staff nurse is accountable for the delivery of skilled patient care, unit activities, and supervision of the team members for a specified shift.Minimum Education: - BSN or MSN preferred.Minimum Experience: - 1 to 3 years of acute care experience in a hospital critical care setting.Minimum Field of Expertise:- Current California Registered Nurse License.- Must have completed and passed: Basic Arrhythmia class and Critical Care Course; or 1 year critical care experience.- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card.- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card.- Current NIHSS Certification.
