Assistant Professor - Hematology - Medicine, Memphis - 190000014Q
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science, Memphis TN is seeking a full-time faculty member at the level of tenure-track Assistant to Associate professor to join a growing and dynamic team of faculty at the Center for Sickle Cell Disease in the College of Medicine.
Applicant must have an MD degree. Applicant must have research experience in sickle disease and related hemoglobinopathies. This position requires a strong interest and research track record in one or more of the following areas: Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology; Pharmacology and Physiology.
The successful applicant will be academically productive with independent research funding. We seek candidates with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully with the basic scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, and the ability to collaborate successfully with basic scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and other members of the Center for Sickle Cell Disease.
