Assistant / Associate Professor - Ophthalmology, Memphis - 190000013E
The Department of Ophthalmology at the Hamilton Eye Institute, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN is expanding and seeks an outstanding full time non-tenure clinical track faculty member specializing in ocular pathology, oculoplastic, ocular oncology, retina, uveitis, glaucoma and/or cornea.
Duties will include sharing responsibility with existing faculty for didactic and clinical training of residents and fellows as well as clinical care of patients at faculty practice sites.
The successful applicant will be appointed at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
We are seeking an outstanding individual who is board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Candidates must possess an M.D. degree and be eligible for Tennessee licensure.
Interest in research with opportunities to partner with the VA and St. Jude and collaborate with current research throughout UTHSC and HEI.
Willingness to participate in comprehensive ophthalmology is a plus but not required.
