Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Occupational Therapy Program at Murray State University is seeking qualified applicants for Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC)/Assistant Professor position in the Department of Occupational Therapy within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. The Occupational Therapy program is housed on the Paducah Regional Campus in Paducah, Kentucky. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) is responsible for developing, coordinating, evaluating, and monitoring programming related to student fieldwork experiences. AFWC is responsible for ensuring the program’s compliance with the ACOTE fieldwork education requirements and ensure program objectives are being met.
Minimum Education Requirements:
- An earned master’s degree in occupational therapy or an earned doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Assigned rank will be determined at point of hire. - Graduate of a US Department of Education (USDE) accredited institution(s).
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Certified by the Board of Certification as an Occupational Therapist and also certified or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
