Responsible for the qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual major gift prospects.
Build and maintain a portfolio of up to 150 qualified prospects rated at $100,000 and above and soliciting them for multi-year leadership level pledges in support of strategic university priorities, especially financial aid, facilities, and/or faculty research initiatives as well as unrestricted annual gifts.
Secure gifts in fulfillment of the upcoming campaign for the new Campus Center project at Rose Hill.
Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Development and University Relations division to ensure effective, efficient and coordinated fund raising strategies and assist, where needed, in reunions and important university-wide special events
Exemplify and uphold DAUR’s core values; and advance and support the University’s Jesuit mission and identity.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred; or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years’ of professional, major and planned gift fundraising experience, preferably within higher education.
Demonstrated record of successful major gift solicitations, including the design and execution of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
Experience securing gifts of securities, bequest intentions, and other gift planning vehicles.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, faculty, donors, trustees and other volunteer leaders, and university officials.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
