Ohio University School of Nursing BSN program on the Athens, OH campus is seeking applications for individuals to serve as adjunct (part-time) faculty in various capacities as need arises for the 2020-2021 academic year. This includes, but is not limited to, clinical instructors, lab instructors, and teaching assistants. These individuals will provide instruction, supervision, guidance and counsel to nursing students in relation to BSN program objectives and includes (1) planning student learning experiences; (2) evaluating student progress; (3) recording and reporting as required by the School of Nursing.
These positions will have responsibilities that require the applicant to be on campus in Athens, OH or on site at clinical placement facilities located in southeast OH, central OH, and/or western WV. These positions are NOT remote teaching positions.
The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this posting.
A nursing degree of BSN or higher is required.
Minimum of two years (24 months full time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States is required.
A current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or the eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
