Job Description Summary: The Project Director(Director)serves as the project director for Webster University as it develops its campus to deliver programs in Georgia. Webster is developing collaborate arrangement with Business and Technology University of Georgia to offer its academic programs in the city of Tbilisi by 2021. The Project Director works at the general direction of Webster University's President, Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Chief Innovation Officer. This position manages the process regarding program and campus start-up in Tbilisi. The Project Director serves as primary liaison between Webster University and Business and Technology University.The Project Director's primary charge during the initial phases of the assignment will be the completion and submission of all required documentation so Webster may achieve authorization by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.In addition, the director will prepare an assessment for Webster regarding the university accreditation process in Georgia. The Director shall have experience regarding authorization and accreditation in Georgia and an understanding of regional accreditation in the US. Experience in the area of academic administration required. Teaching experience preferred. The individual must be able to communicate in English and Georgian. Ability to travel to the US required. Occasional evening and weekend work. Ability to use technology systems such as Microsoft products and video conferencing tools.

Essential Duties Academic Affairs Lead all facets of program development,faculty recruitment,course planning and scheduling for the academic offerings in Georgia. Plan the delivery and scheduling of Websters undergraduate general education offerings. Collaborate with academic deans to address matters regarding program planning, delivery and where applicable specialty accreditation. Assure, evaluate and review faculty in accordance to Universitys academic policy and guidelines. Lead faculty orientations for University programs offered in Georgia. Academic Policy Enforce all University academic policies, including admission criteria, registrations, probation and dismissal guidelines, transfer policies, graduation requirements, and other academic advising or academic standing policies. Collaborate, with appropriate BTU personnel regarding marketing, recruiting, and admissions for University programs in Georgia. Maintain academic standards consistent with all general University policies and requirements. Curricular and Program Development Coordinate and enforce all aspects of the Universitys academic programs. Insure all course syllabi including: course descriptions, outcome statements, course outlines, and course materials are consistent with University academic standards. Collaborate, with appropriate BTU personnel regarding marketing, recruiting, and admissions for University programs in Georgia. Academic Administration Participate in the development of budget development and enrollment forecasting for programs delivered in Georgia. Lead the completion and support the submission of documents required for authorization and accreditation in the US and Georgia. Develop systems related to personnel screening, hiring, termination and payroll that comply with Georgian regulations and Webster policy .Coordinate, as needed, with other University offices, including finance, admissions, financial aid, study-abroad, academic advising, and other administrative offices. Other Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the University. Represent the University at professional meetings, conferences, seminars, and other functions designated by the University
