Job Description Summary: Webster University seeks a graduate assistant to provide project support in the Office of Academic Affairs under the direction of the Director, Academic Resources and Planning. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, working collaboratively with campuses worldwide to ensure Webster maintains appropriate academic credentials and documentation for all faculty worldwide. In this position, the graduate assistant will develop skills and experience necessary to ensure campus compliance with academic policies. Position will manage business processes in a global environment, working closely with all Webster campuses and executing effective business practices across continents, time zones, and cultures. Those studying business, management, data analytics, and/or international relations would benefit most from this experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the initiative to begin unique and complex projects and follow them through to completion while maintaining discretion and confidentiality. Attention to detail, as well as the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task in an office environment is critical for this role.
Minimum Qualifications Must be accepted to a graduate program at Webster University Must enroll in 9 credit hours of graduate courses per semester Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA Must demonstrate relationship of work to academic benefit
Preferred Qualifications Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Completes tasks with minimal supervision, takes initiative Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally Microsoft Office proficiency Aptitude for learning technology and software
