The St. Ambrose University Student Success Center seeks an energetic, relationship-oriented full-time Reading and Learning Strategies Coach. Reporting to the Dean of Student Academic Services, responsibilities include providing classroom and individual instruction in reading and learning strategies. Other responsibilities include organizing, planning and implementing tutor training; creating and presenting programming on effective study skills, including reading skills, time management, test taking, organization, memory strategies, and other study skills. This person is a primary student success contact and liaison with coaches and athletic team members. Requirements: minimum of Master's degree in Reading or a related field or 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
