The position provides leadership of an integrated approach to research, planning, assessment and technology functions in the college, with a focus on improving institutional effectiveness and fostering innovation. The position involves college-wide engagement to ensure integration of planning efforts and maximization of data and technology resources in the daily operations of the college. The position ensures that meaningful data, analysis, evaluation, and supporting documentation are available to inform decision-making related to continuous improvement, student success, academic programming, program evaluation, and enrollment activities in the college. It provides leadership and management of information technology (IT) resources and services to support the efficient functioning of operational units in the college, with an emphasis on innovative academic and classroom technology applications. The position also plays a key role in accreditation and compliance reports and assists work units and teams with development and assessment of annual work plans.

Baccalaureate degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience with instructional technology and distance education, and familiarity with technology applications in both physical and virtual learning environments
Proficiency with quantitative research methods and data analysis, including experience with predictive analytics, business analytics, forecasting/modeling, and propensity score matching
Experience with student learning assessment strategies, trends, and outcomes at a college level.
Proficiency with statistics and data analysis software packages(s) such as SPSS, STAT, or R
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Assess, BI software, and data visualization tools (Tableau)
Familiarity with the ITIL framework for IT service delivery
Experience leading college-level accreditation efforts and assessment programs
Experience developing and using data-driven evidence and proven practices to analyze problems/issues and identify solutions
