Oversight of the daily operations of the regional business office unit, authorization specialists, and new patient coordinators and continual collaboration with leaders to ensure service is consistent, thorough and aligned to meet the operational goals of âPatient Firstâ to support industry leading Revenue Cycle and ambulatory clinic operations.Â The Regional Business Office Manager is responsible for physician billing services. She/he will analyze, recommend, and implement policies and procedures that drive efficient and effective practices and workflows that support a defect-free account environment.Â Diligently work to minimize patient delays, authorization denials, ineligibility, and cancelations throughout the organization for Orange County locations. Continually analyze technology improvements and enhancements to minimize rework and silos or redundant processes. Accountability to all budgets and forecasting to maintain a scalable operation. Will oversee all financial responsibilities for regional oncology locations and any specialty that is onboarded to these locations.
Minimum Education:â¢Required: High School Diploma and/ or GEDâ¢Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:Required:â¢3-5 years of progressive experience as a Lead/Supervisor or Manager in ambulatory, hospital revenue cycle and/or Patient Access roles. â¢Detailed knowledge of California health care and extensive skills of contracts, insurance and authorizations. â¢Effective interpersonal and communication skills,â¢Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities,â¢Working knowledge of managed care, (i.e. Medicare, Medi-Cal, Anthem other commercial payors and all related federal and state regulations and requirements)â¢Knowledge of government and insurance payors admission and billing regulationsâ¢Ability to learn and work with various computer software programs as well as the ability to manage software projects.Preferred:â¢Proven leadership experience developing and implementing functional operations plans.Required License/Certification:â¢LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date (Required within LA City only).
