The Administrative Associate III will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support for 4 Orthopedic Surgeons and delivers positive and effective customer service that supports departmental and hospital operations.
Answering, screening and routing telephone calls.
Processing standard patient paperwork requests and forms i.e. FMLA requests, school notes/clearances, letters of medical necessity, DME requests.
Planing social and educational events i.e. seminars, faculty visits.
Monitoring and maintains faculty credentialing, reappointment and licensure documents.
Maintaining faculty CVs and CMEs.
Performing routine clerical duties, such as opening and sorting mail, delivering and retrieving patient records, scanning records to patient charts, photocopying materials and sorting, collating and distributing documents.
Assisting with other projects and tasks as needed
To qualify, you must have:
Work requires a high school level of educational development and six months in position as an Administrative Associate II.
Work requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the department and hospital programs, policies, procedures and information related to his/her functions and services.
Work requires initiative in improving operations within area/department, and the ability to assists in implementing changes.
Work requires the ability to assist in overseeing the daily activities of co-workers to help plan, prioritize and delegate work assignments.
