The International Evaluator will assist in all aspects of transfer credit evaluation. The incumbent will review and evaluate academic documents in order to prepare evaluation reports for clients and applicants to assist in the integration of such persons into academic or business settings.
Specific duties include: evaluate foreign academic documents; create transfer credit reports based on research and credible sources, including converting grades and credits; determine US academic equivalence; assist in developing pathways between academic departments and study abroad partners; assist in developing international articulation agreements; respond to students regarding transfer course equivalency; evaluate domestic transcripts; serve as a liaison to the campus community for Undergraduate progress; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
1-2 years of work experience
Excellent writing skills
Fluency in a foreign language (verbal and written)
Study or work abroad experience
Experience with customer or student information systems
Experience with conducting research
Interest in foreign education systems
Comprehensive understanding of International Credential Evaluation
Has a high level of attention to detail, has excellent customer service skills, has the ability to problem-solve, offers consistency, and works effectively in a team or independently.
