The Campus Engagement Specialist I provides administrative support for campus engagement activities in order to improve student, faculty, and staff experiences with technology. This position will perform logistical and administrative duties for OIT project and functional teams to enhance University relationships and help deliver effective technology solutions.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) Support customer engagement activities through scheduling, logistical, and administrative assignments. Ensure all assignments are accomplished and communicate updates to project plans and project managers. Provide administrative support to maintain records to validate the planned approach is reaching impacted customers in appropriate ways.
2) Provide administrative and logistical support for campus engagement initiatives. Participate in User Acceptance Testing. Provide project team support for project go-live schedule. Support distribution of materials and job aids to ensure each customer has access to necessary information prior to go-live. Support record keeping of customer readiness metrics.
3) Collaborate with team members to develop and edit content for all areas of communication, including websites, publications, surveys, presentations, and social media; follow project branding standards with all materials. Work with team members to implement web experiences to support customer engagement activities. Measure effectiveness of all communication efforts and collaborate with team members to implement improvement plans. Work with the OIT functions to ensure timely information is being presented.
4) Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of professional experience in human resources, education, instructional design, communication, business, or organizational psychology or related field
Basic understanding of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures and the ability to apply in varied situations
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment a must.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent active listening skills.
