Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a FT, tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor, Computer Science. Teach computer science courses and contribute through teaching, advising/mentoring, services, and scholarship; teaching load is 3 courses per semester and usually includes both introductory and advanced classes; collaborate with computer scientists, supervise student internships, mentor undergraduate research and engage in applied projects in computer science; student advising and engage in service activities within the department, the University, and the profession.
Requires a PhD or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related academic field and 12 months of primary teaching experience at the college-level in the area of computer science. Production of peer-reviewed scholarship is required. Teaching experience may be gained before, during or after graduate studies.
