To direct the development and implementation of a comprehensive process to achieve maximum enrollment, academic, retention, and graduation rates of students at a large community and technical college with two campuses 35 miles apart and many off campus and distance education students. (Includes management programs, credit based customized training, ITV sites, concurrent enrollment sites.) To supervise and work continuously to streamline and improve enrollment, registration, records, academic/satisfactory progress, and academic integrity appeals.
Bachelor's degree and minimum three years professional experience in college records and registration, or related experience
One (1) year of experience supervising employees
Experience with college credit transfer, prior learning assessment, registration procedures, student record keeping and/or related technologies
Experience working with database and spreadsheet software
Experience with student/employee systems such as ISRS
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, lead and facilitate group processes and encourage the involvement of others
Master's degree and 5 years of professional experience and or combination of education and experience
Knowledge of AACRAO guidelines
Five (5) years supervisory experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to project a professional image
Ability to establish and maintain on-going relationships with students, parents, community members, college staff, faculty and administrators
Knowledge of post-secondary educational systems
Ability to project and formulate needs pertaining to the department and make changes as needed
Demonstrated financial management and administrative skills
Ability to problem solve and think creatively
Ability to work independently and lead a team
Ability to adapt to change/flexible in daily operations
