The Department of Management at Eastern Washington University's College of Business is currently inviting applications to fill one Lecturer rank faculty position to start Fall 2020 in support of the accelerated MBA online program. Eastern is a regional, comprehensive institution where excellent teaching must be supplemented with an appropriate research program. The primary teaching area for this position will be management in the accelerated online MBA program. Successful candidates must meet the requirements for secondary graduate faculty qualification at EWU, with strong preference given to those who meet the qualifications for primary graduate faculty. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to offer experience teaching online academic courses at the graduate level to a diverse college student body.

The College of Business is located on Eastern's Spokane Campus, and maintains an administrative presence in Cheney, a residential suburb and the location of EWU's residential campus. The business program is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-International).

Conditions of Employment
Multiple work locations (Main Office located at EWU Spokane Campus, EWU Cheney Campus, or from an approved remote location, with the ability to participate in college and university meetings as required via video-conference)
The required start date for this position is 09/16/2020. To be considered eligible for appointment into the position, applicants must be available and able to start in the position no later than 09/16/2020.
This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value; as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. The offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning employment.
PhD degree in management or other business related field from an accredited university
At least 3 years of verified teaching experience in management at the graduate level
Demonstrated ability to teach courses in an online mode
Demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the diverse needs, including universal accessibility, of our students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
Publications in field of management (SA designation under AACSB standards)
Demonstrated ability to teach Capstone and/or Leadership courses
Experience teaching using the Canvas instructional platform
