The Office of Practice, in the College of Education, is accepting applications for a Dental Site Coordinator. This position is responsible to the Dental Director for directing the day-to-day operations in the dental clinic. Other responsibilities include:
Maintaining responsibility for office operations by ensuring the work flow meets dentist, hygienist, support staff, and patient needs
Updating, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures for dental operations
Acting as a liaison between the Governing Board and dental staff by working with both parties to develop policies and procedures specific to dental
Monitoring incoming and outgoing mail
Scheduling patients for the dentist(s) and hygienist(s)
Maintaining the dental budget
Receiving and routing telephone calls
Performing other related duties as assigned
Position is contingent upon sufficient funding.
The Fair Labor Standards Act status of exempt or non-exempt will depend on the incumbent's entry salary for this position.
