The UWMC Perioperative Department has an outstanding opportunity for a TEMPORARY/HOURLY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (DAY SHIFTS) for the OR Implant Rooms.
Receive and stock implants and related supplies. Examine and compare products for quality, quantity and exactness to the original purchase order.
Deliver implants to operating rooms.
Re-stock implant trays.
Conduct daily cycle counts of implants in order to maintain correct inventory and par levels.
Re-shelf unused products and implants returned from operating rooms to the correct designated location. Adjust inventory as necessary.
Track serial numbers and expiration dates of product. Notify vendor and implant staff of soon-to-be expired item(s).
Maintain current information regarding inventory locations to ensure that product information matches correctly with the Materials Management information system.
Stage implants and implants trays for next day surgical procedures.
