The current contractual agreement between the Tennessee Department of Education, Tennessee Early Intervention Services, and the ETSU Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Leaming and Development outlines the specific duties of the Technical Data Assistant. Specific duties include creating and designing, disseminating three statewide parent/family surveys to assess the State of Tennessee’s progress towards specific outcome performance measures and indicators assigned by the US Department of Education Office of Special Education.

Master’s degree in education or related field; experience working with large data sets, data collection, data mining, analytics, interpretation, and tools such as excel workbook ( or similar tool), and products, such as file maker pro and REDCap. Evidence of strong organizational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to problem solve and follow strict timelines. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
