MSKs Development Services team is seeking a driven, organized, and detailed-oriented Manager of Gift Administration to lead the high-touch gifts team. The Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold data quality and consistent workflow. The Manager will also initiate projects to improve internal operations and facilitate timely reconciliation and closings.
The Development Services team is responsible for seeing gifts through their full lifecycle, from deposit and database entry, to receipting and financial reconciliation. We are Developments donation data experts for donors and internal stakeholders and provide front-line donor services support.
Lead a team of six staff members and ensure that month and year-end closing goals are met. Define standard operating procedures and implement improvements that facilitate accuracy and improve day to day operations for the organization.
Provide leadership and expertise in matters relating to LockBoxes and Financial giving vehicles.
Lead ongoing process improvement projects, monitor progress, and identify issues.
Define, clarify, and document complex gift entry processes.
Be a subject matter expert on high-touch data entry and adjustment processes.
Ensure the team meets all closing deadlines, including month and year-end goals.
Assist in all audit and reconciliation efforts.
Set high standards and accountability systems that encourage professional growth on the team.
Understand and enforce government and MSK regulations that govern gift processing.
Action-oriented with a sense of urgency.
Capable of seeing complex projects and tasks through to completion, including minor details.

A Bachelors degree with3-6 years of experience in a gift administration role, preferably in a high volume complex non-profit organization (at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree).
Experience with Blackbaud CRM or other robust CRM systems such as Raisers Edge or Salesforce.
Experience with data analysis or strategic thinking environment.
