Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Mental Health Clinician II (Network Provider) for the COVID-19 Coordinating Entity Program at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
The Mental Health Clinician II participates as a member of the clinical and administrative team within University Behavioral Health Care's COVID-19 Continuing Entity unit to assure the establishment of an effective working relationship with all network providers of care. Provides training to network providers in the use of the procedures required to provide cost-effective care to the consumer community. Primarily responsible for conducting provider network development and consultation and training to network providers who are contracted to render care to eligible consumers.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides communication and contacts with providers of care who render services to the eligible consumers who are referred to them for care.
Develops and updates provider training modules and training documents.
Performs duties relevant to a lead position and promotes achievement of the goals and objectives of the unit and UBHC.
Demonstrates good work habits and works effectively in the Call Center environment.
Documents all contact information in accordance with departmental protocols and accurately and appropriately inputs data in unit's informational system.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in mental health discipline plus two (2) years post master's experience in a mental health setting.
An active New Jersey license as required by the Licensing Boards of New Jersey.
An active LCSW or LPC.
Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must posses valid driver's license in good standing.
Call Center experience.
Four (4) years post master's experience in a mental health setting.
