The School of Architecture at Syracuse University is looking for a Part Time faculty member to teach ARC 621 – Building Systems Design I, a required course in the technology sequence, in Fall 2020.
ARC 621 Building Systems Design I is an introductory building technology course that holistically introduces the language and concepts of building ecologies, including environmental performance, construction, and materials. Students will investigate site and context, climate conditions, spatial implications of structural systems, the role of the building enclosure as the interface between the interior and the exterior, construction assemblies, and integrative design paths towards sustainable and high performance architectures.
