The University of Missouri, St. Louis' nationally accredited Child Advocacy Center is hiring a Manager of Forensic Services. This position co-manages the Forensic Team at the Child Advocacy Center with the Manager of Forensic Operations, providing day-to-day administrative and functional management/supervision of the forensic staff.
Recruit, employ, train, manage and evaluate forensic staff and students
Assist in the establishment and implementation of staff development plans
Oversee staff peer review process
Facilitate/participate in meetings with multidisciplinary team members and/or caregivers
Assist in setting billable hour expectations and monitors forensic staff productivity
Assist in setting staff schedules and monitor/approve/coordinate leave requests
Address staff concerns/needs as appropriate
Address logistical issues of staff needs (e.g. supplies, equipment)
Assist in the development/revision of forensic policies and procedures as necessary and monitors staff compliance
Monitor forensic staff compliance with agency expectations and implementation of practice standards regarding client referrals, forensic interviewing and family advocacy
Assist in managing client engagement and quality assurance with CAC consumers
Participate in local and state CAC and child-welfare related organizations as needed
Provide direct forensic services as appropriate/needed
All other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field from an accredited program
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working within the child protection field and/or within an MDT agency
Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field
Minimum of 4 years of management experience
Minimum of 4 years practical experience within a child advocacy center or multidisciplinary agency
