Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Project Coordinator I for the School of Social Work. This position is under the direction of the Principal Investigators, the Project Coordinator supports coordinating the daily activities, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time. Primarily, this Project Coordinator spends their effort on a new grant, Partnerships for Success (PFS), which is a subcontract with the Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Provides administrative and logistical support.
Prepares literature reviews.
Collects and manages data.
Interfaces with stakeholders of the project to ensure a productive and collaborative environment.
Develops and implements surveys, ,manages research protocols, develops timelines, tracks and assesses deliverable progress, and ensures timely and accurate flow of information.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, human services or related discipline.
A minimum of two (2) years related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess exceptional organizational, communication, and project coordination skills and computer literacy.
Must have prior experience in utilizing the Strategic Prevention Framework in community initiatives, project coordination, evaluation, data collection and analysis, writing reports, and coordination with stakeholders.
Administrative experience, the ability to build relationships, and outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Requires experience and fluency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and IBMSPSS software.
Experience in substance abuse prevention field is required as well as experience with the Strategic Prevention Framework in prevention work; experience in evaluation is also required. Experience using IBMSPSS software is required.
Master’s degree is preferred in social work, public health, public administration, or related discipline.
A minimum of least two (2) years of project coordination experience is preferred.
Experience using IBMSPSS software is required.
