To provide the LMU Women's Intercollegiate program with a knowledgeable and experienced coach who can develop and motivate a maximum level of team performance.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree in education, physical education or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 1 year coaching expertise and teaching experience in progressively responsible positions.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of:
Sports skills; Teaching and Training techniques; Organizational skills; Personnel management and staff development; Financial planning; Interpersonal skills; Computer Skills; NCAA rules
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of word processing systems.
