The Cloud Team will be an essential part of this digital transformation as we work to help our entire institution leverage the powerful tools and services offered by various cloud providers. Were a small team that will be growing quickly over the next year, and this role will play an essential part in the success of MSKCCs digital future.

You Will: Contribute to building and maintaining the cloud-based infrastructure across multiple public cloud providers to deliver a hybrid cloud platform which enables our tool builders to rapidly innovate and lower time to value through the use of cloud native technologies. Serve as an escalation point for cloud-based infrastructure support issues and be responsible for seeing these issues through to resolution. Collaborate with existing teams (networking, security, enterprise support, etc..) to help inform and drive our hybrid cloud infrastructure design decisions and enable them to extend their capabilities into our cloud environments. Use your in-depth knowledge and experience of DevSecOps processes to further our Infrastructure as Code and automation practices and processes. Contribute to the curation of user focused documentation to provide tool builders guidance and insight into how our hybrid cloud platform is constructed and best practices for building Contribute in Agile project management through Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices on the team and program levels. Engage the MSK tool builders through various communities of practice (structured training, user groups, hackathons etc) to advance adoption of our hybrid cloud platform. Continuously build your knowledge and skillsets along with the rapidly evolving public cloud providers we use to build our hybrid cloud platform on.
You Have: 3+ years experience designing, building and supporting solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). Strong preference for AWS experience Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong experience working with CI/CD orchestration tools such as TravisCI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc. Strong experience building security forward solutions to meet regulatory and governance requirements. Strong oral and technical writing skills. Experience building solutions on AWS, preferably also Azure and/or GCP. Experience with cloud relative scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, shell scripts, etc. Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc. Must be team oriented but also self-driven with the ability to continuously learn and evolve with the cloud providers we build on.
