The College of Health and Human Services at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), Bowling Green, Ohio is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12-month qualified rank (non-tenured) faculty appointment at the Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor level to serve as the Admissions Director of the developing hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. This accelerated two-year DPT program is a blend of online and on-campus activities, which allows the faculty member to live remote to the BGSU campus. However, DPT faculty members must be able to travel and stay in Detroit metro/south east Michigan/northwest Ohio for designated time periods each semester. Responsibilities: Teaches courses as agreed upon with the Program Director, Directs all day-to-day operations regarding student recruitment and admissions processes, Serves as program liaison with the College of Health and Human Services Graduate Degree programs admissions office. Serves as the primary faculty contact for all student inquiries requiring more specific program information. Plans and oversees program recruitment efforts to attract a diverse student cohort. Directs staff support personnel who assist with assembling and disseminating admissions information, receiving applications, entering data, and preparing files for interviews. Evaluates and reviews the admissions process, criteria, and admissions data to make recommendations to the faculty regarding changes annually. Coordinates an update of the program website, handbooks, and informational brochures relative to student recruitment and admissions to ensure current and relevant information is provided to all prospective students. Assists the Director of Student Affairs with student assimilation into the DPT program immediately following enrollment offer acceptance and prior to orientation. Coordinates all activities of the Admissions Committee. Provides oversight, in conjunction with the Administration Committee, to all Admissions Policies and Procedures component of the Program Assessment Plan and accreditation requirements including the Self Study Report. Ensures all program policies, procedures and practices under the responsibility of the Director of Admissions provide for compliance with accreditation policies and procedures.

• Terminal academic doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D, etc.) or a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (or tDPT), with American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) or certification credentials appropriate for their teaching responsibilities.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in Ohio or the state of residence.
• A demonstrated record of scholarship, as evidenced by peer reviewed publications/technical reports/grants, which may include scholarship of teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching online courses.
• Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills to meet the needs of our online didactic instructional format
• Previous experience and knowledge as to the admission process and procedures for graduate physical therapy educational programs.
• Experience with asynchronous candidate interviews
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and practice issues affecting didactic and clinical education, students, and the profession of physical therapy.
