Applications are invited from ambitious, independent and motivated candidates for a post-doctoral position in the Division of Health and Biomedical Informatics. The position will focus on clinical research informatics and precision medicine under Dr. Firas Wehbe, Chief Research Informatics Officer for the Feinberg School of Medicine (FSM) and Director of the Applied Research Informatics Group in the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NUCATS).
The Applied Research Informatics Group (ARIG) is a collaborative group that aims to further the research mission of FSM by developing, implementing, supporting and scaling research informatics methods and software. Working within ARIG will offer the post-doctoral fellow the opportunity to collaborate with a large variety of collaborators from across FSM and to develop organizational and informatics skills that could lead to a future leadership position such as CRIO of an academic research organization.

Involved in the day-to-day operations of a large research informatics group.
Contribute to research protocol development, project data manipulation and analysis, authorship of resultant manuscripts.
PhD in a computation domain, such as Informatics, Computer Science, or Data Science, with an interest in applied research and/or integration of clinical and research systems. Or PhD in a biomedical domain, such as biology, genetics, biochemistry, etc. , with experience and/or postdoctoral training in a computational area (such as an NLM postdoc).
