The School of Physician Assistant Studies invites applications for an adjunct faculty position, responsible for visitation of clinical sites and maintenance of site visit records.Responsibilities: Collaborates with PAS faculty to evaluate clinical sites Coordinates and tracks clinical site visits as a means of communicating and reinforcing experiential learning objectives and assessment of a safe and productive learning environment Collaborates with PAS faculty and staff in maintaining preceptor records including updating preceptor and site contact information, licensure, certification, availability, placement, and affiliation agreements for all MCPHS University PA Programs Participates in clinical orientation activities and clinical team meetings on a quarterly basis Provides feedback to preceptors from student evaluations of preceptors Understands ARC-PA standards as they relate to the clinical year curriculum and Supervised Clinical Practice Experience (SCPE)Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Clinical Education or Program Director.Qualifications:Required:Applicants will be considered as follows:Physician Assistants with the following: Current NCCPA certification A minimum of one year of clinical experience Experience as a clinical preceptor is preferred Familiarity with the ARC-PA standards as they relate to the clinical year curriculum and Supervised Clinical Practice Experience is preferred Physicians with the following: Current eligibility or unrestricted license as an allopathic or osteopathic physician A minimum of one year of clinical experience Experience as a clinical preceptor is preferred Familiarity with the ARC-PA standards as they relate to the clinical year curriculum and Supervised Clinical Practice Experience is preferred Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills A valid U.S. driver?s license and personal mode of transportation Ability to travel within the New England states Ability to be physically in attendance at designated clinical site visitApplyTo apply, please visit www.mcphs.edu/careers.
