The Associate Director of Recruitment manages a team of recruitment and event staff to engage with prospective students through the recruitment and admission process of various master’s programs. This role organizes, plans and directs the nurturing of prospective student interest in master's programs and trains the staff to counsel students on program and school differentiators, attributes and overall selling points.
Takes a leadership role in managing the recruitment team’s execution of the counseling of students that are interested or in the process of applying. Will work in collaboration with Enrollment Management team to provide training to recruitment staff on admission requirements and learning outcomes of the program. In charge of maintaining accurate data on how students are progressing through the admission cycle from prospect to enrollment for the entire portfolio as well as overall reporting trends.
Additional responsibilities focus on the oversight of program ambassadors as assigned and organization, planning, and execution of webinars and program information sessions.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads recruitment staff in working with students that express interest in Olin master's programs and works with the team to maintain effective communication with perspective students regarding graduate programs.
Supervises, hires, trains and evaluates recruitment staff and works with recruiters to develop customer-focused skills, provides feedback on ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness corrects any deficiencies and recommends and implements corrective action and discipline as necessary.
Provides professional development and training to assigned staff on a regular and consistent basis.
Helps the team recruit and yield newly admitted students and meets enrollment goals for the portfolio.
Works with the recruitment team and the admission team to ensure that all applicants are handled appropriately, efficiently and timely throughout the admission cycle.
Manages the development, supervises the execution of the Recruitment Roadmaps, and contributes to the New Admit plans for the portfolio. Participates in strategy development as part of the enrollment management team.
Nurtures relationship between Recruiters, Student Services, Career Services and the Marketing Teams to disseminate information on progress to goal for the portfolio and encourage best practices across all programs.
Participates in planning, process mapping and developing department budget.
Marketing, Events, Recruitment & Yield:
Manages collaboration with internal and external teams to create communications for prospective students and admitted students.
Participates in the organization, planning and execution of on and off campus domestic recruitment/yield events for prospective students, in coordination with the Director of Admission and Recruitment.
Organizes, plans, and executes webinars (recruitment, admission, and yield material) and program information sessions and previews. Oversees the creation of presentations for these events.
Works with Enrollment Management Team and Associate Director of Recruitment Strategy and Engagement to identify market trends and develops recruitment strategies. Will lead recruiters on execution of quarterly web updates and other marketing materials in order to ensure accurate and consistent data is being presented and disseminated appropriately.
Oversees the successful execution of various committees, that may include but are not limited to, Ambassador Programs, Corporate Partnership Programs, Alumni Engagement and Community Outreach.
Supervises and works with the Events Coordinator on the successful execution of on and off campus domestic recruitment events.
Oversees development of PowerPoint presentations for virtual, on and off campus marketing purposes and ensures that program presentations are consistent across the portfolio, branded appropriately and updated with correct information, faculty, ambassador and alumni profiles when applicable.
Leads initiatives to execute on Undergraduate Classroom and Organization outreach.
Works with recruiters to identify any barriers (scholarship, financial, logistical, etc.) that a student is experiencing and works to find solutions.
Manages cross unit call campaigns & initiatives.
Reporting, Computer & Technical Expertise:
Queries and generates reports on recruitment and yield activities; analyzes and interprets statistics and data to determine pace and predict resource needs to meet short and long-term enrollment goals.
Manages the 1:1 meeting process for staff and prospects utilizing technology provided.
Identifies and evaluates efficiencies of systems/process and makes recommendations and suggested enhancements to its functionality.
Establishes and maintains facility with computer operating systems pertaining to general inquiries, admission, and financial aid for purposes of efficient and concise record keeping and generation of communication and reports.
Establishes expertise in University systems, CRM, Application and other computer operating systems and software as needed.
Reporting functions to include: verifying tour lead excel lists with CRM, quality control checks with teams to ensure proper follow up with leads/prospects for all events, monthly updates on how prospects and applicants are progressing thru the admission cycle and notifying management of any trends. Regular updates on progress to goal from Prospect to Enrolled stage.
Collaborates with the team on End of Cycle Clean up, Program Audits, Final Program Data and Orientation Surveys.
Five years of related experience.
Master of Business Administration degree.
Previous management experience.
Previous university experience.
Experience managing recruitment teams.
The hiring range for this position is $52,943 - $68,816 annually.
