USC Department of Surgery recruiting a Statistician I for the Hepatobiliary Division. Â The Statistician will perform data management projects and statistical analysis under the direction of Dr. Emamaullee.. The statistician will require specialized skills for data analysis, including R, Python, Ilastik, Cellprofiler, Histocat, and SAS. This statistician will also be responsible for working with several large datasets, both clinical and pre-clinical, will perform data extraction, cleaning, and analyses including logistic regression, competing risks, and Kaplan-Meier survival analyses. The statistician may also assist in writing research papers for publication and oversee maintenance of computer software and hardware.
Minimum Education: Master's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 2 years, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experienceMinimum Field of Expertise: Biometry, Biostatistics or Statistics; mainframe computer and PC experience; experience with SAS, Epilog, BMDP, GLIM or SPSS.
