Meet with appropriate faculty and gather information as needed.
Develop course content and syllabus.
Prepare course materials.

SW 8841 - Social Work Research Methods, Saturdays, 12:15-2:15 p.m.
SW 8152 - Social Work Practice Methods - Families and Groups, Fridays, 9:35-11:30 a.m.
MSW or related Master's degree for a Teaching Specialist. A doctorate or terminal degree in a closely related field is required for an appointment as Lecturer.
Knowledge of the course content area
Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in written work
Must be able to meet at the assigned class time, schedule office hours, and meet with School of Social Work personnel as necessary for the preparation and delivery of the course.
Positive student evaluations from previously taught courses
Successful completion of graduate coursework beyond the master's level
