Advertised Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients in a busy outpatient setting and to support care team members through an interdisciplinary patient-centered medical home. The registered nurse (RN) will provide care through nurse driven protocols and medical provider guidance and directions. The RN will assist providers with evaluation, health screenings, treatment plans, referrals, education, emotional support, and preventative care. Duties include providing diagnostic tests and treatment modalities. The primary goal for the RN is to ensure positive patient care outcomes are achieved. The RN works with other members of the health care team, family and/or caretakers to provide compassionate care to the patient.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in nursing, or bachelor's degree in nursing and 2 years experience or diploma from accredited school of nursing and 3 years experience. Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing. Eligible to obtain SC nursing license. CPR certification.
