As a key member of the Trust senior management team, the Senior Director is responsible for the vision, strategy and organizational leadership for technology solutions that will keep us at the forefront of a competitive marketplace. Overseeing a broad portfolio of technology solutions and responsible for their integration with the enterprise ecosystem. Responsible for the successful implementation of web systems in collaboration with the Trust business units, recommending best fit and overseeing planning, design, testing, and launch. Leading the transformation of the Trust's technology infrastructure aligned with business priorities to become more customer-focused, donor-centric, and responsive to a competitive and ever-changing landscape. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, providing leadership and direction to the staff responsible for digital solutions, the enterprise platform(s), applications development, and technical services.
This Senior Director of Technology Strategy and Solutions will be responsible for:
Developing the technology vision for the Trust, in response to current and anticipated business needs, and ensuring its successful translation and adoption as a set of annual and long-term strategic priorities and operating plans.
Hiring, leading and coaching a best in class internal technology team as well as a set of vendor partners, encouraging and promoting continuous learning and innovative solutions.
Directing the strategy and operation of the Trust enterprise systems including online fundraising, the Trust website, donor database (CRM), data warehouse, the internal knowledge and content management systems, and all associated hardware, applications, and peripherals.
Creating and overseeing policies and practices ensuring the integration of data across the Trust's constellation of systems and databases.
In collaboration with Trust leadership and senior managers, developing policies and practices to ensure user adoption of and proficiency with technology.
Developing effective working relationships with technology staff across hospital departments ensuring the Trust is in compliance with standards and policies, as well as appropriately leveraging new developments and advances within the hospital.
To qualify, you must have:
Experience in fundraising environment, especially in a complex organization, ideally in academic medical fundraising.
At least ten years of progressive experience in managing functions related to technology solutions, web development, technical services. Five to ten years' leadership experience in a highly complex organization. Five years direct supervisory experience, as well as five years' experience working with a CRM enterprise system.
