Job Description Summary
Individual hire for this position will be a member of an established research team working in the exciting and dynamic field of T cell immunotherapies. The role will be integral to the development of the next generation of engineered cell therapies for cancer emphasizing collaboration towards rapid clinical translation and proof-of-concept studies in humans.
Design and create gene-modified T cells for IND enabling studies
Manufacture cell products to support clinical trials
Characterization of human cell products using molecular methods and flow cytometry
Work collaboratively to enable technology development
Supervise and support other team members in related research activities
Perform additional duties as assigned
Collaborate in drafting manufacturing protocols and other documentation needed
Present data at lab meetings
Masterâ™s Degree with 1-3 yr experience or Bachelorâ™s Degree with 3-5 yr experience in lymphocyte culture. Experience in cell product development and/or cGMP manufacturing is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to work with ours and in a team setting. Excellent organizational and record keeping skills are necessary. This position also may involve work on weekends and University holidays.
