The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.   Responsibilities include establishing a dynamic, independently funded research program in the area of epithelial barrier biology, which could be related to stem cell/regenerative biology, the microbiome or immunology. In addition, the successful candidate will work synergistically and collaboratively with other investigators in the department.  Applicants would be expected to participate in medical and graduate student teaching. High quality laboratory space and excellent start-up support are provided. 

Qualified candidates will hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree and be scientists or physician-scientists with outstanding research accomplishments and with a record of success in competing for independent research funding. Rank and remuneration determined by qualifications and experience.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
