Rider University's College of Education & Human Services is seeking literacy education adjunct instructors. We are seeking instructors to teach undergraduate literacy methods courses to pre-service elementary and secondary educators. Undergraduate courses include a commitment to teaching on campus as well as supervising a related field experience in a K-12 partner school. We are also seeking instructors to teach graduate courses in our online Reading/Literacy Specialist endorsement program.
Qualified candidates must possess a Master's degree along with K-12 teaching certificate and classroom experience and deep knowledge of literacy research, policy and practices. Daytime availability needed for applicants interested in the undergraduate literacy methods courses. Experience with online teaching practices highly valued for applicants for the graduate level positions.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
A Doctorate degree and teaching experience at the university level preferred.
