Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator for the Department of Pediatrics-Adolescent Medicine within the New Jersey Medical School.
The Title X Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Title X Family Planning Program with the supervision and collaboration of the APN, Program Manager, Division Director, and the grantee. Under direction, plans, organizes, coordinates and directs day-to-day activities related to the program within the department. Coordinates research activities. Supervises technical and professional staff.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Coordinates all aspects of the Title X program, including client care, education, and community development.
Assesses and assures compliance of the Title X Guidelines and contractual requirements.
Coordinates communication, facilitation, and collaboration between the DAYAM clinic and New Jersey Family Planning League.
Educates providers (doctors, nurse practitioners/physician assistants) and staff on the eligibility for the Title X Program.
Works closely with clinical staff in the DAYAM Clinic to ensure they are enrolling eligible clients in the Title X Program, following proper procedures and providing adequate information to the funder.
Ensures that the Family Planning Program's goals and objectives, work plans, quality assurance activities are completed.
Responsible for planning and completion of all required annual trainings as per Title X guidelines.
Update and maintain the Title X policies and procedures for the DAYAM clinic.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Nursing or related field plus three (3) years of health education experience.
Minimum of four years of related experience in medical office or program management.
Minimum of two years of related experience in some type of supervisory or management role.
Family planning experience.
