The Accounting Department at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington is recruiting to hire two full-time, tenure track faculty for the 2020-2021 academic year. Tenure-track faculty have an annual service period of nine months. The positions are open to all teaching and research areas within accounting. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service.
The Foster School of Business is proud to support top-ranked programs at the undergraduate, MBA, Ph.D., and executive levels. The Accounting Department has an international reputation for its research productivity and teaching excellence. The Foster School of Business is housed in Paccar Hall, a 135,000 square foot state-of-the art classroom and faculty office building.

Candidates must have or be on track to earn a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field.
Provide evidence of ability to meet the duties of UW faculty members including any published or unpublished research (include a research paper based on the candidate's dissertation if a new entrant in the market), evidence of teaching experience (if any), at least three letters of reference, curriculum vitae, and a cover letter that includes a statement of teaching preferences.
The initial application deadlines are September 30, 2019 for seasoned candidates (non-rookies) and November 1, 2019 for candidates without experience (rookies) but applications will continue to be accepted until the positions are filled. Applications will begin to be reviewed upon receipt.
