The University of Maryland School of Medicine's Department of Neurology is recruiting two full-time Physiatrists to join our expanding Rehabilitation Division. We seek candidates who are interested in starting/continuing a PM & R career in a large academic medical center setting. Appointed candidates will provide PM & R consultations and some inpatient coverage for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma and other rehab related diagnoses. They will join a collaborative team of dedicated rehabilitation professionals including occupational/speech therapists, and rehabilitation physician/scientists. Clinical sites include the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and the University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Institute (UMROI). There is potential to be involved in clinical research and teaching of residents and medical students.
