Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Literature and Language at East Tennessee State University seeks qualified instructors to fill several part-time positions teaching courses in French, German, Japanese, or Spanish.
The Department of Literature and Language is made up of English, Foreign Language and Women's Studies programs. The successful candidates’ primary duties will be to teach in any one of the foreign languages we offer in our department, namely French, German, Japanese, and Spanish. The courses that the successful candidates may teach are of the 1000- and 2000-level. These are temporary positions, filled on a semester-by-semester basis with some opportunity for renewal; positions do not include benefits.
