The Gender Studies program at Rutgers University-Camden invites applications for Part-time Lecturer positions for courses starting in Fall 2020 and including Winter 2021, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021. We seek candidates with effective teaching experience who can teach online (Canvas), on campus, and/or at off-campus locations and who can teach introductory and advanced courses in women’s gender, masculinities, transgender studies, and queer/LGBTQIA+ studies. The position may carry with it an opportunity to participate in campus programming and/or planning around gender studies.
Gender Studies is both a joint academic major and minor and offers courses in masculinities, queer studies, and women's studies. For information about the program see https://genderstudies.camden.rutgers.edu.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Master's degree or J.D. in relevant field, Ph.D. in Gender Studies or other relevant field preferred.
