This position consists primarily of teaching, scholarship and service. Under the auspices of teaching, this individual will assist the Program Director in the design, implementation, evaluation, and revision of curriculum, mentor and advise current students as well as supervise students on their graduate projects and mentored fieldwork experiences; under scholarship this individual will be involved with research activities in the field of education and/or the faculty member's field of practice and under service will serve on university committees or programs or allied professional organizations. While it is expected that up to 90% of the faculty member's effort will be teaching and other education or service related duties as assigned, 10% of the time will be made available for the faculty member to pursue their areas of scholarship. There are minimal administrative responsibilities including admission selection of prospective students and participation in promotion and maintenance processes of the program. This is a 100% FTE position..
Minimum Education and Experience:
Applicants must have: (1) a minimum of a PhD degree in Life Science or in a closely related field with demonstrated experience in Clinical Research Development (2) a commitment to teaching at the graduate level, (3) an excellent record of research accomplishments that demonstrate subject matter expertise and knowledge. Preference will be given to the candidate who demonstrates his/her ability in areas such as Clinical Research and Development and Regulatory Affairs and exhibits good knowledge of information systems concepts, techniques and practices. Exemplary planning and organizational skills; good listening, oral and written communication skills; computer literacy with Microsoft Office bundle ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online Learning Management Systems (preferable); Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects; unsurpassed interpersonal skills Rank will be commensurate with experience
