Position/Job Summary The Department of Physical Therapy at Ithaca College invites applications for a non-tenure eligible faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor starting in the 2020-2021 academic year. This position requires a physical therapist with pediatric expertise and clinical experience to serve as a faculty member in a six-year DPT curriculum that provides seamless undergraduate to graduate education. The successful candidate will have both patient care responsibilities in the Ithaca College Occupational and Physical Therapy Clinic and teaching responsibilities that require clinical experience working with the pediatric patient population. The successful candidate for the non-tenure eligible position must be able to teach in clinical and didactic settings. In addition to teaching, other faculty responsibilities include advising students, scholarship, and service. Position/Job Qualifications: Candidates must 1) be a licensed physical therapist in the United States and be eligible for New York State Physical Therapy licensure 2) have a clinical doctorate (DPT) or an academic doctorate (PhD, DSc, EdD), and 3) have at least five years clinical experience. Special consideration will be given to Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialists.
