FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
All teaching faculty perform teaching and research duties, which may include clinical instruction. Clinical Professors are highly-experienced practitioners or teachers who hold full-time, non-tenure track positions.
The Clinical Professor serves as a principal faculty member of the Physician Assistant Program, with full participation in program administration, development and assessment of curricular content, student advisement and will teach in areas of expertise. The successful candidate will be involved in student recruitment and admissions activities; and provide service to the college and the Health Professions Department.
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a minimum of a Master's degree and licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York State as a Physician Assistant with NCCPA board certification OR a U.S. licensed (or board eligible) physician; minimum of a master's degree, doctoral degree preferred; minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience; minimum of one (1) year of teaching (includes clinician preceptor teaching/supervision) experience. Experience teaching in a Physician Assistant program preferred. Also required is the ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
