The Department of Surgery, located at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, invites applications for a TRAUMA/CRITICAL CARE SURGEON to service as attending faculty surgeon.
Duties also include didactic education and surgical training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
This is a non-tenure track academic appointment commensurate with experience and level of academic interest.
Candidate must be board-eligible or certified in General Surgery and have trauma or critical care fellowship or equivalent experience. Research experience is desired and interest in teaching is required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications including an exceptional benefits package.
