Rutgers School of Business-Camden (RSBC) offers the following 100% fully online degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Online BBA), a Master in Business Administration (Online MBA), and a Master of Science in Business Analytics (Online MSBA) program. Working independently and under the direction of the Manager for Online programs, this position will be a key part of the onboarding and retention process particularly in regards to responding to non-academic and general questions, promoting communication with students who might be in need of assistance (non-academic), promoting collaborations between departments and the school to expedite student issues and track the progress of students in coordination with the Manager for Online programs. This position will also be responsible for assisting students by referring them to tutoring services, disabilities services, advisors and/or other student centric services. Reporting of student progress/retention at a macro and micro level will be required. The position will assist in the recruiting efforts of various program, as deemed necessary.
The Program Coordinator II will assist in recruitment and onboarding of students who stopped out of the programs. Planning, participating, and presenting in recruitment and admitted student webinars and orientations; participate in on- and off-campus recruiting events; and assist with the annual graduation ceremony. The position also provides general support for the Online Programs, particularly related to faculty, course materials, and the learning management system (LMS), and manages special projects, such as gathering student profile and class data for accreditation (AACSB International, Middle States) and other external sources.
The position requires the ability to multi-task, flexibility, strong detail orientation, problem-solving skills, excellent follow through, and the ability to work autonomously as well as interdependently and concurrently with many people, projects, and programs.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in a higher education environment preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, facilitation, and training skills.
Ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team in an innovative environment, and independently as needed.

Ability to handle complex situations with diplomacy and demonstrated competence using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
This position will be guided by the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and will be expected to exercise discretion for all aspect of the job.
BA or BS in counseling, psychology, business, or education. Prior hands-on experience in higher education will be given preference.
Experience using Microsoft Access Database on a daily basis, as well as Microsoft Excel, and Word. In addition, the position uses online learning management systems, such as Canvas, and/or Sakai, as well as other Rutgers University programs, including, but not limited to: RUTADMIN, ImageNow, RaptorConnect, and Course Scheduling System.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours on occasion to include evenings and weekends.
Must be a team player and willing to perform other functions as required to ensure team success.
Salary: Starting salary will be commensurate with experience and within departmental budgets.
